No — the zero-commission model is the same in every country we operate in. We charge travel agents a flat annual subscription to list their packages; that revenue model means we never inflate package prices and never share or resell your inquiry.

You pay the travel agent, not Searchumrah — we take no commission and add no markup, so the price on the listing is what the agent charges, in that market’s own currency. You can pay the agent directly, and on packages where it is offered you can instead choose "Pay via Searchumrah", where your money is held by a licensed payment aggregator and released to the agent only after you travel. Card, UPI, netbanking and EMI are supported on that route. Which options appear depends on the agent and the market you are booking in.

Every listed agent completes KYC verification with valid business registration documents and travel-trade credentials for the country they operate in — in India, for example, that means GST, PAN and a registered address, and many of our partners are additionally Hajj Committee of India registered or IATA-approved. An agency stays hidden from the public site until that check clears. Verified agents carry a badge on their profile so pilgrims can identify them at a glance.

A standard Umrah package usually includes return flights from your departure city, Umrah visa processing, hotel stays in Makkah and Madinah, transportation between cities (Jeddah → Makkah → Madinah → Jeddah), Ziyarat tours, and a group leader (mu’allim). Premium packages add closer hotels, fewer guests per room, and extra meals. Always check the package’s "What’s included" section before booking.

Umrah package prices from India typically range from ₹70,000 to ₹2,50,000 per person, depending on season, hotel category, distance from Haram, and trip duration. Spiritually, Ramadan Umrah carries the greatest reward — but it is also the most crowded and expensive period. For a calmer experience, the months of Shawwal, Dhul-Qa’dah, Safar, and Rabi-al-Awwal offer good weather, lower prices, and shorter queues at the Haram. December–February is also popular with Indian pilgrims because of cooler weather in Saudi Arabia.

Most Umrah packages from India run 10 to 15 days. Shorter 7-day "express" packages exist for working professionals, and longer 21-day packages are common during Ramadan so pilgrims can spend the last 10 days (Laylat al-Qadr) in Makkah or Madinah.

Yes. Indian passport holders need an Umrah visa to enter Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage. The visa is issued through an approved Umrah travel agent — you cannot apply directly as an individual. Saudi Arabia now allows women aged 18 and above to perform Umrah without a Mahram (male guardian), provided they travel as part of an organised group. Many Searchumrah agents offer women-only or family-group Umrah packages that meet this requirement.

Yes. Only pilgrims with a confirmed past booking (verified through their account) can leave a review for an agent. Anonymous or unverified reviews are not accepted. Each agent’s star rating and review count on their profile reflects real, gated feedback from past Umrah travellers.

Cancellation and refund policies are set by the individual travel agent, not by Searchumrah. Each package detail page lists the agent’s cancellation policy in the "Policies" section — always read it before booking. As a rule, Umrah visa and flight costs are non-refundable once issued, while hotel components may be partially refundable depending on the agent’s contract.
